Lab
Early Literacy Foundations
Level 1 foundational phonics block built for accessible, multisensory learning. Featuring a bold, high-contrast 'gumball' pop-art interface, this tool guides students through letter recognition, letter-sound correspondence, and simple CVC blending using one task at a time, large buttons, and gentle error correction to prepare for Level 2.
Word Explorer Tool
Type any word to get an AI illustration and fill-in-the-blank meaning practice. Great for building vocabulary and comprehension for visual learners.
Structured Literacy Extensions
Level 2 early literacy foundations block — a full multisensory lesson for each of 20 units. Every lesson opens with a rapid sound-card review (long vowels, then r-controlled vowels), moves through Heart Words, the unit's phonics pattern, spelling, and sentence dictation, then builds word meanings, sentence syntax, and decodable sentence and paragraph reading before the wrap-up.
Level 3 Gumball Pattern Pop
Pop-art phonics game for advanced vowel patterns. Students pop words matching a target pattern across sequenced r-controlled vowels, vowel teams, diphthongs, variant vowels, and mixed review.
Dino Balloon Spelling Escape
A Gumball-inspired structured spelling chase. Students map sounds to letters and inflate a balloon character one correct letter at a time before a dinosaur earns three chomps.
Sight Word Tools
A complete high-frequency word practice suite. Pick a grade, theme, and target word list, then choose from five activities — Traceable Sentences, Stamp & Spell, Mix and Fix, Sight Word Match, and Sight Word Popper — to build automatic word recognition through engaging, repeated exposure.
Syllable Studio
Break down complex words for phonetic mastery. Guides students through the six syllable types with structured, multisensory literacy practice — reading, chunking, marking, building, and spelling multisyllabic words — to build decoding confidence with longer, more challenging vocabulary.
Syllable Slot Machine
An arcade-style phonics slot machine that spins decodable syllable reels to build multisyllabic blending fluency. Land a real word and confetti plus a sky full of happy Newton dogs celebrates the win; land a nonsense combo and students get a gentle 'sound it out' nudge. Teacher-led for small-group or whole-class decoding practice.
Magician's Memory Game
A magician's-workshop memory + decoding game. A word flashes onto the pedestal, vanishes in a puff of smoke, then students type it from memory. Correct spells earn a rabbit-from-the-hat 'Sparkle Success' celebration; misses get a gentle magician 'try again' and a second chance. Words grow from 1 to 2 to 3 syllables across closed, open, VCe, and vowel-team patterns, with 5-in-a-row mastery unlocking a Magician's Badge — plus an end-of-session review for teachers.
Inference Detective
Interactive mystery-solving comprehension tool where students use textual evidence, context clues, and logical reasoning to draw conclusions and make predictions from reading passages.
Mental Movie Director
Visualization strategies for deeper reading engagement. Students build a 'mental movie' of a passage, describing what they see, hear, and feel scene by scene — helping students who struggle with comprehension move beyond decoding words to actually picturing and holding onto the meaning of what they read.
Signal Word Predictor
Identify text structure through transition signals. How to use: pick a signal word category (cause/effect, sequence, compare/contrast, or problem/solution), generate example sentences, then have students predict what comes next based on the signal word alone — building awareness of how authors organize ideas.
Lens & Perspective Lab
An immersive, Gumball-inspired mixed-media textual greenhouse — paste complex texts and cultivate four analytical lenses (Historical, Social-Emotional, Debater's, and Scientific) with tactile 'soil' icons. Watch matching evidence bloom with academic sentence starters, drag and drop into a printable Synthesis Map, and toggle Read-Aloud or Simple-Language modes for multi-level classrooms.
Elkonin Boxes Generator
Phoneme segmentation tool where students move counters into boxes as they hear each individual sound in a word. Research-based intervention for developing phonemic awareness and sound sequencing skills.
Paragraph Shrinking
Summarization tool for reading comprehension. How to use: read a paragraph, then identify the who or what it's mainly about and the most important thing about them, and shrink that idea into a summary of 10 words or less — training students to pull out main ideas instead of restating every detail.
Graphic Organizer Architect
Build visual thinking maps for any topic or text — choose from main idea, sequence, compare/contrast, argument, character, and scientific method layouts, then fill in the boxes to organize thoughts before writing or discussion. Helps students break down complex ideas into clear, structured visual chunks.
Fluency
Standardized oral reading benchmark passages with a 1-minute timer and downloadable student & teacher copies. Teacher view shows cumulative word counts; student copy is clean. Saves WPM scores to student profiles.
Newton Spell Lab
A tactile audio-feedback spelling tool for elementary and multilingual learners. Hear a target word (with an optional phonetic sound breakdown), then rebuild it letter-by-letter from a scrambled tile tray — green highlights and gentle chimes confirm each correct letter, and a warm nudge greets out-of-order taps. Choose CVC, consonant blends, long-vowel/silent-e, or irregular sight-word tiers, or type your own custom list. Sessions sync mastery and practice words to the student profile and analytics.
Numeracy
Early Numeracy Interventions
A one-task-at-a-time foundational math intervention sequence with six scaffolded units covering counting, numeral identification, quantity matching, comparison, number composition, addition, and subtraction. The Gumball-inspired mixed-media interface uses large choices, visual dot groups, gentle correction, and whole-group Present Mode.
Early Numeracy: Intermediate Modules
Units 6–10 of the numeracy sequence, picking up where early intervention ends: subtraction within 10, adding and subtracting within 20, place value to 100, skip counting by 2s/5s/10s, and equal groups with early multiplication. Each unit runs fluency, missing part, compare, pattern, and word-problem skills in the Gumball-inspired mixed-media interface with Present Mode.
Touch-Point Math Lab
A tablet-first, multi-sensory addition and subtraction lab built on the TouchMath strategy. Each numeral carries tactile 'touch points' students tap as they count, turning abstract addition and subtraction into a concrete, kinesthetic routine — ideal for Tier 2/3 learners who need a bridge between counting and automaticity.
Place-Value Workshop
A highly visual, step-by-step two-digit addition workshop built around base-ten rods and ones. Students combine Ones in a green zone and Tens in a blue zone, physically trade 10 ones for a new ten rod when regrouping is needed, and only then connect the concrete model to the traditional written algorithm — with teacher-adjustable difficulty, hints, guided/independent mode, and a per-student progress view.
Newton’s Basketball Place Value
A mixed-media basketball place-value game where students move a court launcher, bounce a basketball into hundreds, tens, and ones targets, and build the target number exactly.
Funny Feature Finder & Count-A-Lot!
Count quirky teeth, bananas, and mixed-media monster legs in a playful locker-hall counting game with adjustable difficulty, tactile sounds, streaks, and big celebrations.
Time & Measurement Mastery Lab
A seven-level time and measurement path taught one step at a time. Students read analog clocks to the hour, half hour and five minutes, set the clock's hands themselves, work out elapsed time, measure length on an inch ruler, read liquid volume on a graduated container, and convert and compare units — each level pairing a visual model with a step-by-step method, a worked 'Show me how' example and a mastery goal before the next level opens.
Multiplication Arrays Lab
A seven-level multiplication path taught one array at a time. Students build an array from a multiplication sentence, write the sentence for a pictured array, skip count the total, find the missing factor by dividing, turn an array on its side to see that the factors can swap, solve equal-groups stories, and build an array to a target total — each level pairing the array model with a step-by-step method, a worked 'Show me how' example and a mastery goal before the next level opens.
Interactive Manipulatives Tool
A virtual workspace for hands-on math exploration — drag base-ten blocks, fraction shapes, and counters for K–5, or algebra tiles, integer chips, and a coordinate grid for 6–12. Pan, zoom, and snap-to-grid on an infinite canvas.
Newton Shopkeeper
Practice shopping, sorting, and money skills in four interactive stores. Students fill visual orders, count coins and bills, and build real-world math independence.
Early Numeracy: Advanced Modules
Units 11–15, the top of the numeracy sequence after the Intermediate Modules: two-digit addition and subtraction to 100, multiplication with arrays, division and equal sharing, fractions as equal parts, and two-step problems with rounding and estimation. Each unit runs the same fluency, missing part, compare, model-it, and word-problem skills in the Gumball-inspired mixed-media interface, now modelling with countable dot arrays and fraction bars, plus whole-group Present Mode.
Life Skills & SEL
Functional Life Skills Lab (Activity & Curriculum Generator)
An instant generator for practical, community-based, and independent living tasks that integrate functional numeracy, environmental-print recognition, and daily-living skills into differentiated student activities. The Curriculum Generator builds activities across four domains — Financial Literacy, Environmental Print & Community Navigation, Home & Independent Living, and Vocational & Workplace Readiness — with reading-level and complexity scaling, visual-support toggles, and localized custom scenarios (local stores, bus routes, regional currency). Each generated activity includes an IEP-aligned objective, step checklist, and interactive practice questions students complete digitally, plus one-click print-ready worksheets and automatic accuracy logging to the IEP data tracker. Also includes hands-on practice modules for one-to-one counting, daily-life vocabulary, laundry sorting, and bus-schedule reading.
Visual Feeling Tracker
Students log their current emotional state using color-coded Zones of Regulation, then receive a tailored 30-second somatic grounding exercise for that feeling.
Perspective Tool
A Social Mapping Tool grounded in Selman's Stages of Perspective-Taking and Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking framework. Present a common classroom conflict and guide students through mapping who's involved, what each person is thinking, and the unspoken social rules at play.
Student Emotional Check-In & Mood States Lab
A daily emotional check-in tool built around four energy and mood states — Low Energy/Rest, Ready & Balanced, Elevated Energy/Frustrated, and High Intensity/Intense. Students pick their state and feeling, then receive age-appropriate coping strategies and calming techniques tailored to that state. An optional student selector links each check-in directly to the student profile and analytics dashboard so educators can track emotional trends and regulation goals over time.

Newton Daily Dialogue Sandbox
A calm ESL speaking practice tool for young multilingual learners. Pick a region — India, Mexico City, or Tokyo — then talk through everyday scenes with an AI partner who mirrors correct language instead of grading mistakes. Includes sentence starters, phonetic word taps, Record & Compare, and a region-tagged log so teachers can track progress across cultural contexts.
Story-Builder Scaffolding
A visual-syntax sentence builder for ESL learners. Tap or drag colour-coded Story Sticks (Characters=Blue, Actions=Green, Settings=Yellow) into fixed slots to build '[Character] is [Action] at the [Setting].' Hard Mode blanks the action for a logic puzzle, with gentle 'Does that make sense?' nudges — never a wrong answer.
Newton Sentence Sculptor
An ESL sentence-builder for Multilingual Learners. Students assemble colour-coded Word Bricks (Subject/Verb/Object/Preposition) into a tray; a gentle green 'Sentence Health' meter nudges instead of marking errors. Two modes: Bricks (scaffolded tap/drag, no typing) and Free-Form (type alone, with one-tap grammar-fix suggestions from the AI). Sentences save to a Story Gallery that tracks each student's unique-word growth over time. Scene prompts and word banks use Indian-context vocabulary.
Collaborative Peer-Talk Sandbox
An asynchronous audio 'talk board' for Multilingual Learners. Pick a small group prompt, listen to classmates' 10-second audio responses, then rehearse in private before publishing your own — with sentence-frame scaffolds and an optional Visual Dictionary. No Likes, no Comments, just calm sharing mapped to your small group.
World Languages Lab
Learn everyday Spanish, Korean, Japanese, French, Portuguese, and Hindi through simple AI-powered practice in realistic scenes. The partner mirrors your attempts instead of grading them, with Romanized readings and short English translations for non-Latin scripts — designed for English-speaking students taking their first steps in a new language.
