Fresh Coat of Paint, Brand New Features: What's New at Newton Learning!
Welcome back to Newton Learning! Over the past few months, we have been hard at work rolling out a fresh, vibrant visual update and an incredible lineup of new student and educator tools designed to make intervention planning, classroom management, and student-led learning more engaging than ever. Whether you are prepping for small-group instruction or looking for interactive games your students can dive into directly, there is something new for every corner of your classroom.
A Bright, Scrapbook-Inspired New Look
If you have logged into your dashboard lately, you will notice our interface has gotten a major aesthetic upgrade. We’ve leaned into colorful, joyful scrapbook elements, warm pastel tones, and playful iconography. Education is creative, hands-on, and dynamic—and we wanted our platform to reflect the warm, inviting energy of a modern special education and elementary classroom.
Exciting New Student & Teacher Tools
Along with our visual redesign, we are thrilled to introduce a brand-new batch of interactive student features and educator workhorses:
- Level 3 Gumball Pattern: A delightful, high-engagement sequencing game where students practice identifying, extending, and creating complex visual and numerical patterns using colorful gumballs.
- Dino Balloon Spelling Escape: Turn spelling practice into an arcade-style adventure! Students pop balloons by spelling words correctly to help their friendly dinosaur navigate safely through challenges.
- Newton's Basketball Place Value: Bring kinesthetic energy to math centers. Students dribble and shoot hoops by correctly identifying tens, hundreds, and thousands place values in a fast-paced interactive format.
- Funny Feature Finder: A visual literacy and attention-to-detail game where learners scan quirky illustrations to spot silly anomalies, building visual discrimination and descriptive language skills.
- Count-A-Lot: A versatile, multi-sensory counting tool that makes one-to-one correspondence and early subitizing fun and interactive for emerging mathematicians and AAC users.
- Writing Prompt Generator: Never stare at a blank page again! Teachers and students can instantly generate creative, scaffolded, and genre-specific writing prompts tailored to different grade levels and student interests.
